To make
For Thanksgiving I decided to bring a craft activity to do with my cousin’s daughters. I’d seen this tutorial for yarn Christmas trees a few years ago and decided it’d be perfect.
I showed the girls how to wrap the yarn around the tree forms and helped them pin, otherwise I left them free to make their own design decisions.

To give thanks
Some photos of Thanksgiving dinner at my Grandma’s house.
I made pumpkin whoopie pies; the recipe is from my friend Hillary’s blog. Next time I’ll make them more bite size, otherwise they were amazing.
The spread was traditional and fantastic, I made the parsnip bread pudding.
We also managed to seat the whole family together.

I spent Halloween night at my parent’s house. My mom and I carved pumpkins in the afternoon.
